Camerata San Antonio 23-24 Season

Subscribers will receive a booklet of tickets to present at each concert. If you ever lose your booklet, just give us a call at 210-492-9519.

THE SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGES

Complete Season Subscription (all 6 programs): We recommend this package for anyone who wants to hear every program of our 23-24 season, regardless of your home venue. If you are a Kerrville or Holy Spirit patron that wants to hear the programs that are not planned for your home venue, this is the package for you! 20% savings.

Kerrville Season Subscription (5 programs): All the tickets you need to attend every concert at First Presbyterian Church in Kerrville (the entire season minus the May 5 Camerata Recital). 20% savings. If you want to hear the Recital, too, opt for the Complete Season Subscription.

Holy Spirit Season Subscription (3 programs): All the tickets you need to attend every concert at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit (1918-1939: 19th Century Echoes, Star-Crossed, and Bold Brilliance). 20% savings. If you want to also hear the programs that are not currently planned for Holy Spirit, opt for the Complete Season Subscription.

Flex: 4 tickets to use however you like in any combination at any venue. 10% savings of individual ticket prices.

THE SEASON

1918-1939: 19th Century Echoes. Sept 1-3, 2023. The first of two concerts centered on the musically rich period between the World Wars features music that carries forward 19th century traditions by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Fritz Kreisler, and Florence Price.

1918-1939: Breaking Away. Sept 29 & Oct 1, 2023. The second of two concerts centered on the musically rich period between the World Wars features music that forges new paths in all directions by Leoš Janáček, Germaine Tailleferre, and Ernest Bloch.

Star-Crossed. Jan 12-14, 2024. Claude Debussy’s music for star-crossed Pelléas and Mélisande, plus works by Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms are featured on this piano trio concert.

Las Musas. Feb 9 & 11, 2024. Works of exquisite beauty and mystery by Errollyn Wallen, Joaquin Turína, and Gabriel Fauré for soprano and chamber ensemble.

Bold Brilliance. Apr 5-7, 2024. String trios by two uncontainable mavericks, Ludwig van Beethoven and Dame Ethel Smyth.

The Camerata Recital: Zerweck/Valkov. May 5, 2024. Violinist Matthew Zerweck and pianist Viktor Valkov join forces to close our season with a tour-de-force duo recital, featuring music by César Cui, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Dmitri Shostakovich.
